Welcome

Here at Red Barn Bicycles we love building high-quality, custom mountain and road bikes. We enjoy working with each customer personally to build a bike that fits their specific needs. An important upgrade would include a set of our hand built wheels using high-quality hubs spokes, nipples and rims.

Montana is rough country and we build and ride bikes that work well in the Rocky Mountains. Please view our gallery of recent bike rides and bike builds.

Red Barn Bicycles

We've been grooming shannon ridge trail as part of the lake como network of xc ski trails for the past couple of weeks. Have you tried the groomed singletrack trail ? If so, what are your thoughts/comments.

We look forward to grooming more but lack the financial backing for fuel, maintenance, and up front investments so we're looking for members of the community that have the ability to donate please stop into the shop and consider helping. Any amount helps. Maybe we start a club with fees or your thoughts on this too. Our goal is to provide some very fun next level fat bike, winter cycling experience....just need volunteers and donations to bring it to the next level.

Btw...shannon ridge and the xc ski trails should be riding very nice this coming weekend. So get out there and check it out.

Red Barn Bicycles

Pay attention to the temperature and as the temps rise to above freezing consider riding another place or cutting your ride short. As a user group let's be super cognizant to this aspect...leave no ruts. Air pressure from 3-6psi was working well. I dropped down to 3psi for the shannon ridge connector and was able to ride trail back down to shannon lake and out. ... See MoreSee Less
